How it happened?

It's a long story, so few people know it in full. The way that led here is a rushing torrent, but visible only to those in its midst. From a distance you can't see it, only the noise comes.

How it started

Somehow this dream has always been there since I was at least ten years old. It grew up, when I was thirteen it took shape as a sailing voyage, and then changed again in the middle of university four years ago. Since then, it has taken the form of a year-long journey around the world, but only recently it became a complete round-the-world tour. The difference lies in the duration, because it takes much longer than the famous 80 days of Phileas Fogg to at least be able to get in touch with the places crossed.

What is the logo?

When I prepare my clothes the night before leaving for a trip, on top of them is a necklace with a green frog (the button, it does not jump). The name of this website is literally the phrase that goes through my head the next morning, every time I wear it before leaving the house. Maybe someone mistook it for an amulet or a lucky charm, but it is not. It’s a symbol, but it does not represent freedom. It serves to remind me to keep my eyes open and my senses sharp, to seize opportunities and face unexpected events.

Why this voyage?

This is undoubtedly the most difficult question. The need to make the journey has such deep roots that it appears to me as the simple inevitable consequence of many small choices made in the past. Read books, known people, lived experiences lead right to the present moment. I could leave even without a specific reason, because unorganized trips have the advantage of teaching those who endure them many things about themselves and the others.
